Facing the impossible.
There are moments in life when we face the impossible.
Whether you are dealing with a relationship issue, a financial need, or a health concern, God is aware of it.
Joshua asked God for something impossible while fighting an enemy. He prayed, “Let the sun stand still over Gibeon, and the moon over the valley of Aijalon” (Joshua 10:12). He asked God to stop the rotation of the earth!
God stopped the earth’s rotation.
I am not that bold. I have never asked God for anything like that. If you’re like me, you may feel unworthy or a bit selfish. A prayer request like that is huge.
When dealing with something bigger than life, pray. Seek God. Search the Bible for answers. And, ask God to give you wisdom and direction.
The impossible is possible with God.
Remember, God created everything. He holds everything together. God inspired Paul to write, “Now to Him who is able to do above and beyond all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us” (Ephesians 3:20). God answers our prayers.
Even if the “sun doesn’t stand still” for you, God is working to accomplish his will in your life. Trust God. And you will see that He caused everything to work together for the good because you love and serve Him according to his purpose (Romans 8:28).
