Making a Decision.

I have struggled to make some decisions. For example, when I was deciding which college to attend, I had a tough time. Eventually I arranged a meeting with my pastor who gave me some great advice. He told me that God would use me wherever I was … even if that school was not “THE” one.

Pastor Harper taught me that God creates good things from those who love him.

Paul wrote in Romans 8:28, “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.“ As I focused on that verse, I was able to make a decision.

Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to seek God in every way, to not depend on our understanding, and to seek Him throughout a decision making process.

If you’re struggling with a decision, perhaps you could focus on asking God to guide you and learn to hear His voice. When you’ve honestly done your best to seek God’s direction, trust Him to cause everything to work together for the good.
